Homeschool Blues & Baby Yoda
Are any of you feeling the pressure, the pinch, the stress of helping our kids navigate their schooling from home? I'm sure the teachers providing the lessons are. Ours seem to be throwing everything they have at us in an effort to see what sticks. The problem is, my kids get overwhelmed. I finally emailed the teacher and said, "Are you okay if we choose one thing in each subject each day instead of trying to do EVERYTHING every day?" He said, "of course." Honestly, if he had said no way then I would've done it anyway for my sanity and my child's.
The way I release stress is to draw. I don't know if it works for everyone, but like learning to play music, if you aren't learning a song you like, then it's not as fun. So I thought I'd teach kids or adults to draw something they probably like. I mean, who doesn't love Baby Yoda?
