This is just a quick sketch painted in Painter. Can you guess what she's missing...good old summer days. My kids are dreading the start of school. They love summer.

  3. I hear ya! I'm a teacher and we start back tomorrow with kiddoes...over 100 degrees this week! *Sniff sniff* No subject is as worthy of tears as the loss of summer vacation! Great illustration.

  15. I usually do my sketches by hand with pencil b/c it's faster. Then I scan. Also, I don't love the way painter'd pencils work as much as my own.
